Moscow & Tehran prepare to arm Hizballah, including with Iranian air defense missiles

Hizballah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah, last week proposed that Iran re-arm the Lebanese army with new weapons including anti-air missiles. Zarif responded that Tehran is ready to assist Lebanon “in every field” – including the military sphere. He spoke in general terms, but DEBKAfile’s military sources report that, behind closed doors, the Iranian foreign minister offered the Lebanese army a set of Iranian Bavar 373 air defense missile systems, which are a close replica of the Russian S-300s deployed around military and nuclear sites across Iran. Iran nay decide against sending these missiles to Lebanon, lest they are destroyed by Israel, but the offer in itself is raising raised the military temperature around Lebanon. Quite simply, all the parties concerned are aware that the Lebanese government will decline this offer, because by closing the Iranian door they will open it to the start of Russian weapons supplies to Lebanon and Hizballah. Tehran has no objection to advanced weapons reaching Hizballah from Russia. The Iranians will claim that it is par for the course. Kurdish forces in Syria are armed by the Americans to fight Islamic State terror, and Hizballah is fighting the same foe. Continue reading

In message to Russia, U.S. Marines carry out live fire exercise in Syrian desert

U.S. Marines conducted a live fire exercise in the southern Syrian desert after Russia said it intended to enter the deconfliction zone near an American base in the area.

More than 100 U.S. Marines, backed by artillery fire, took part in the exercise to send a “strong message” to Russia, two U.S. defense officials told Fox News. Continue reading

Washington (CNN)Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard is expected to soon begin a major naval exercise that could demonstrate its ability to shut down the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial conduit for global energy supplies, US officials say.

The exercise in the Persian Gulf could begin as soon as the next two days, according to two US officials directly familiar with the latest assessment of the Revolutionary Guard’s troop movements.

New US-Israeli “Project Iran” is headed by IDF’s Maj. Gen. Nitzan Alon

Project Iran” was set up during Israel’s Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Gady Eisenkott’s talks with top US brass in Washington on June 29 for coordinated US-Israeli military operations against Iran.

IDF Operations Chief Maj. Gen. Nitzan Alon was named to head it. He was with the chief of staff when he sat down with Gen. Joseph Dunford, Chairman of the US Chiefs of Staff, and Gen. Joseph Votel, head of CENTCOM in Washington. At 53, Alon accepted the post although he was ready to retire from the service after an impressive career spanning 34 years. It included valuable experience as commander of special operations forces and oversight of the integration of special undercover units in the intelligence corps for action behind enemy lines. He led several combat divisions before being promoted to OC Central Command. In 2015, he took over the General Staff’s Operations Branch. Eisenkott persuaded him to stay on as the first holder of a job just created of Director of the “Iran Project” – the IDF codename for a newly-established US-Israeli task force for executing potential decisions to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities, ballistic missiles and/or military bases in the Middle East. Wednesday, while most Americans were otherwise preoccupied with the Independence Day holiday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani threatened an open act of war against his neighbors:

“The Americans have claimed they want to completely stop Iran’s oil exports. They don’t understand the meaning of this statement, because it has no meaning for Iranian oil not to be exported, while the region’s oil is exported. The Americans say they want to reduce Iranian oil exports to zero… It shows they have not thought about its consequences.” Continue reading

The kingdom has threatened to build a nuclear waste dump literally at the border with its diminutive neighbor too.

King Salman has said Saudi Arabia would take military action to eliminate the Russian-made S-400 aerial defense system if it is installed in neighboring Qatar, which has reportedly entered into a deal to purchase several of the launch systems despite being home to a major U.S. Central Command base.

Accoring to Reuters, Salman “recently” wrote a letter to French President Emmanuel Macron that states, in part:

“The kingdom would be ready to take all necessary measures to eliminate this defense system, including military action.” Continue reading

THE REAL RUSSIA STORY — Port Canaveral “Project Pelican” and Uranium One deals connected through the Jafars

What the America’s leaders essentially have likely allowed is Russian nuclear weapons within the United States. Let that sink in the next time someone laughs and says America won’t or can’t be successfully attacked by the Russians and Chinese, or the Iranians. The average person can only foresee planes, ships and nuclear weapons from afar coming over, when in fact Russia could have a nuclear trojan horse already inside the gates. The Chinese version of what the Russians are doing can be linked to its state-owned COSCO company, which has hundreds, if not thousands of shipping containers within the United States — as well as management controlling key shipping ports like the one in Los Angeles.

JFK also spoke of a Russian nuclear bomb in an embassy within Washington, D.C. during his tenure:

Were the Russians Hiding a Nuke in D.C.?

More on the Club-K Container system can be read about under the following previous posts:

Gulftainer is connected to the Uranium One deal.

Gulftainer is the Iraqi Jafar family’s UAE-based ports company that is tightly connected to Russia and Saddam Hussein’s nuclear weapons programs.

In 2014 the Obama administration awarded Gulftainer a 35-year lease to Florida’s Port Canaveral cargo container terminal in a secret deal code-named “Project Pelican.”

U.S. ‘Plan B’ for the Middle East. The Occupation of One Third of Syria’s Territory

Map from Anadolu Agency, published in Orient Net [18]

The television network RT asked me for a comment around the recent visit to Raqqa done by the USAID program chief together with the CENTCOM Commander. [1]

Before addressing the humanitarian situation in Raqqa associated with the reconstruction issue (80 percent of Raqqa dwellings remain “inhabitable”, according to the UN), I will focus on the current U.S. geopolitics in the area, against the backdrop of the U.S. emerging ‘Plan B’ on Syria. So far, the implementation of this new design has signified the virtual occupation of nearly a third of Syria’s territory. A hallmark of the situation consisting in the illegal occupation of Syrian territory by U.S. troops.

The first project of the US on Syria aimed to obtain a regime change. It was pretty much a “default” policy applied by the US in the Middle East at the times of the Obama / Hillary Clinton administration. Partly of its mechanism has been described by Senator Dick Clark (an excerpt of Senator Clark’s declarations is found in the video here below. Click on the image for the excerpt-footage).

The strategy of “regime change”, which can we call “U.S. Plan A on Syria”, failed.

It’s A “Geopolitical Earthquake”: A Stunned World Responds After Saudi Alliance Cuts All Ties With Qatar

Virtually nobody saw it coming.

Late on Sunday night, the Saudi-led alliance of Gulf Arab states, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain including Egypt, shocked the world when they announced they had severed ties and closed borders with one of the Gulf’s wealthiest, if smallest, neighbors Qatar, a (now former) member of the Gulf Cooperation Council in what we called a “geopolitical earthquake” and what Bloomberg dubbed an unprecedented move designed to punish one of the region’s financial superpowers for its ties with Iran and Islamist groups in the region.” Continue reading

Intel Analysts: We Were Forced Out for Telling the Truth About Obama’s ISIS War

The enemy isn’t at the gate. The enemy is within the gate. The enemy within the gate isn’t in the trojan horse. The enemy within the gate has left the trojan horse and is now doing its job of gutting America.

America itself hasn’t woken up and is following mostly the Kardashians. That small portion who aren’t following the Kardashians are three steps behind in thinking the enemy is at the gate.

America is being purged and in trouble with deep wounds that may not be curable.

The growing scandal over cooked ISIS intelligence just got much worse. Now, analysts are saying they’re being forced out for not toeing the Obama administration’s line on the war.

Two senior intelligence analysts at U.S. Central Command say the military has forced them out of their jobs because of their skeptical reporting on U.S.-backed rebel groups in Syria, three sources with knowledge of their claim told The Daily Beast. It’s the first known instance of possible reprisals against CENTCOM personnel after analysts accused their bosses of manipulating intelligence reports about the U.S.-led campaign against ISIS in order to paint a rosier picture of progress in the war.

Matt Drudge: ‘America has been arming ISIS’

If you’ve been following Global Geopolitics for the last two years or so, this would be a no-brainer. The good news is that the mainstream picked up on it.

Rare tweet by media giant alludes to sinister Obama policy

Matt Drudge’s first tweet in months came with a cryptic message: “A shocking truth is unfolding: America has been arming ISIS.”

The Obama administration has been plagued for weeks over news U.S. weapons supplied to Syrian rebels were inadvertently winding up in the hands of terror groups. The media giant’s tweet on Tuesday alludes to something far more sinister.

US and Russian Forces in Syria Aren’t Talking to Each Other

CENTCOM says it has “no military-to-military contact” with Russian forces sent to help the embattled Assad regime.

In Syria, where the U.S. is leading an air campaign against Islamic State targets and Russian military advisors are arriving to help the Assad regime, the two militaries aren’t talking to each other.

“Coalition forces are focused on conducting counter-ISIL operations, and so to my knowledge there is no military-to-military contact at this point,” Air Force Col. Pat Ryder, spokesman for U.S. Central Command, told reporters Friday morning. Continue reading

Exclusive: 50 Spies Say ISIS Intelligence Was Cooked

If you’ve been following Global Geopolitics for a little while, you will have seen the posts regarding the whitewashing and manipulation of the ISIS threat designed to ensure the public hears only happy stories. Ex-military officers have also claimed the exact opposite of what the Obama administration portrays. They’re even gaining ground in Afghanistan. Soon we might see a follow-up to this story where we find out 50-plus intelligence analysts were suddenly removed (purged) from their duties, like US Army Gen. Odierno, who was forced into retirement after going against the Obama administration grain.

Also, stories such as ISIS taking over Syria’s last remaining oil field (another oil field here) is another piece of proof hard to refute. Don’t forget about the oil and wheat fields they took over in Iraq. Furthermore, what’s worse is that they’re on America’s doorstep on the U.S.-Mexico border.

Along with the military, the intelligence communities have been infiltrated by a fifth column which during the next year or two will continue to shed away the ‘undesirables’ who are truly patriotic and concerned about America’s national security.

It’s being called a ‘revolt’ by intelligence pros who are paid to give their honest assessment of the ISIS war—but are instead seeing their reports turned into happy talk.

More than 50 intelligence analysts working out of the U.S. military’s Central Command have formally complained that their reports on ISIS and al Qaeda’s branch in Syria were being inappropriately altered by senior officials, The Daily Beast has learned.

“The cancer was within the senior level of the intelligence command,” one defense official said.

Russia gearing up to be first world power to insert ground forces into Syria

And now we know why U.S. Patriot missiles were removed from Turkey.

Despite strong denials from Moscow, Russian airborne troops are preparing to land in Syria to fight Islamic State forces. The surprise attack on Monday, Aug. 31, by ISIS forces on the Qadam district of southern Damascus, in which they took over parts of the district – and brought ISIS forces the closest that any Syrian anti-Assad group has ever been to the center of the Syrian capital – is expected to accelerate the Russian military intervention.

Moscow is certainly not ready to endanger the position of President Bashar Assad or his rule in Damascus, and views it as a red line that cannot be crossed. If Russia intervenes militarily in this way, Russia will be the first country from outside the Middle East to send ground forces into the Syrian civil war. Continue reading

US Army Gen. Odierno Retires amid Controversy over Iraq Remarks

Fall in line with the liars in the White House or get purged like this respected General. It remains to be seen how long Brig. Gen. Wilson Shoffner will last given his statement regarding ISIS gaining ground. All branches are being purged of those who hold the line against the Obama administration, or are Christian.

U.S. Army Chief of Staff Gen. Ray Odierno headed into retirement Friday amid controversy over his recent remarks on Iraq that were challenged by the Baghdad government, the State Department and now U.S. Central Command.

When asked if CentCom agreed with Odierno’s assessment that the campaign against Islamic militants in Iraq was essentially at a “stalemate,” Air Force Col. Pat Ryder, the chief spokesman for the command, said Friday, “No, I don’t agree with that.” Continue reading
