The Antichrist’s Cashless Utopia: War on Cash in 2016

(TRUNEWS) The push for a cashless society has begun to gain steam around the globe, with nearly every major nation taking strides to adopt digital currencies, centrally governed cash controls and incentivize cashless transactions.

A Bloomberg Op-Ed published on January 31^st called for the end of paper currencies, touting that “cash had a pretty good run for 4,000 years or so,” but was “dirty, dangerous, unwieldy and expensive, antiquated and so very analog.”

Now though each of these reasons all have some merit of truth behind them, such as paper currency serving as a vector for disease, incentivizing physical robberies, and complicating P2P long distance transactions, the existence of physical legal tender has an equal set of priceless characteristics.

In the Book of Revelation, God forewarned his people through the Apostle John, that during the Tribulation period the global system will be dictatorially ruled by a single political authority, known as the antichrist. In Chapter 13 verses 16-17 the antichrist’s control over the economy is described as absolute: “He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.” Cashless technology and centralized restrictions of transactions fit this warning.

Now that it’s evident the United States under Barack Obama’s leadership lacks the will to put down Iran, and is even helping Iran go nuclear, someone is going to have to fill in the void.

How Germany is building a European army

“Berlin will not be able to overwhelm Iran in the near future unless it is working on a special strategy right now,” wrote Gerald Flurry in last month’s Trumpet.

That is a dramatic statement from one of the most dramatic articles we have published. For over two decades the Trumpet has been warning that the next world war would begin with German-led Europe attacking Iran. Last month Mr. Flurry exposed how Germany is planning for that very confrontation right now.

Some of this German strategy is well known. For example, the German press often writes about “the Merkel Doctrine”—Chancellor Angela Merkel’s attempt to create an anti-Iran alliance by selling weapons to Iran’s enemies. Mr. Flurry also explained that Germany is already surrounding Iran, establishing deployments and making deals across the Middle East.

But there’s more. European military planners are getting the Continent ready for a clash with Iran.

Berlin Group: EU Needs Army and Super-President

Another recent article by The Telegraph supporting this notion can be found here. Within the article, it states the following:

In a document released on Tuesday after a meeting between 11 foreign ministers in Warsaw, the bloc, which includes all the largest European countries outside Britain, charted a vision for the “future of Europe”.

As well as calling for a single, elected head of state for Europe, the bloc demanded a new defence policy, under the control of a new pan-EU foreign ministry commanded by Baroness Ashton, which “could eventually involve a European army“.

The European Union needs a radical transformation into a superstate, according to proposals laid out by the EU’s most enthusiastic members. The creation of a European army, a single European president and a European border police force were among their most striking recommendations.

Formed at Germany’s behest, the group of foreign ministers from 11 member states met throughout the year and published their conclusions September 17. Calling themselves “the Future of Europe Group,” and sometimes known as the “Berlin club” or “Berlin group,” their suggestions to create a super-president over the whole EU were the subject of the July Trumpet magazine’s cover article.

Merkel Dumps Sarkozy for Monti

Realizing that Sarkozy might not make it to see the next term, she has her backups lined up as Germany wishes to continue steering the continent in its liking, subjugating one neighbor after the next with economic might and political pull.

Last week reports emerged of an alliance between Italy and Germany. This is a harbinger of that final axis that will dominate the European Union from here on.

Readers of the Trumpet would know that we have long expected the weakening of the Franco-German alliance and its ultimate replacement with an Italo-German alliance. This is the “holy” Roman connection with Germany that will inspire the prophesied final rise of the ultimate 10-nation combine set to rule Europe—in reality the seventh and final rise of the Holy Roman Empire.

The Merkel-Monti connection is the resurrection of the historic old Chaldean/Assyrian axis in modern clothes. That “series of joint German-Italian initiatives to promote economic stimulus measures to be discussed at the European Council in June” are but the beginning of a powerful influence that will be exerted soon on the global economy from Rome and Berlin (Revelation 13:16-17).
