Report: German Intelligence Agency Spied on FBI, US Arms Companies

Germany’s BND foreign intelligence service spied on the FBI and U.S. arms companies, a public radio station in the country disclosed Wednesday. Continue reading

Europe, Still Angry at U.S. Spying, Prepares to Increase Its Own

It’s been said here often enough that the only scandal is the fake outrage at the NSA and America. This isn’t to say that the espionage never happened, but the reaction is purposely blown out of proportion to steer public opinion. The NSA has worked hand-in-hand with the German government for decades. German law does not permit the state to spy on its own citizens and therefore has contracted with the NSA to do the Bundesnachrichtendienst’s domestic dirty work. The underlying motive for the fake outrage is that Germany’s Fourth Reich, who now has recaptured Europe and established itself as the regional hegemon, wants the United States out. Therefore, you will see overblown and manufactured scandals such as these.

Just as the United States is taking a first step toward placating European privacy concerns about U.S. surveillance, several European countries are passing laws dramatically expanding their own spy programs.

The House last month passed the Judicial Redress Act, intended to extend some privacy protections to foreign citizens. Meanwhile, the French Senate just passed one of the broadest international surveillance bills in the world and several other European countries are moving in a similar direction. Continue reading

Forced to Flee (IV)

BERLIN/PRIŠTINA (Own report) – Germany is significantly responsible for helping create the conditions causing tens of thousands to flee from Kosovo. This has been confirmed by an analysis of the development that seceded territory has taken since NATO’s 1999 aggression, in which Germany had played a leading role. Prominent German politicians have also played leading roles in establishing Kosovo’s subsequent occupation, helping to put the commanders and combatants of the mafia-type Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) militia into power in Priština. They created social conditions that have drawn sharp internationally criticism. In 2012, the European Court of Auditors (ECA) reported that organized crime continues at “high levels” in Kosovo. The Council of Europe even discerns some of the highest-ranking politicians, including a long-standing prime minister, as being members of the Mafia. Poverty is rampant. After 16 years of NATO and EU occupation, around one-sixth of the children suffer from stunted growth due to malnutrition. Germany has played an important role in organizing the occupation. If it were not for cash transfers refugees send home, many Kosovo families would not be able to survive. In the first semester of 2015 alone, more than 28,600 found themselves forced to apply for refugee status in Germany – with little chance of success. Berlin is now seeking more rapid ways for their deportation.

Germany Could Create NSA-Like Mass Surveillance Program

According to a legal fellow at Electronic Frontier Foundation, the German authorities seem to have plans for a mass surveillance program that parallels the NSA program.

MOSCOW (Sputnik), Anastasia Levchenko — German authorities may be establishing a spying program similar to that of the US National Security Agency (NSA), a legal fellow at Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) told Sputnik Tuesday. Continue reading

Ankara’s War

ANKARA/BERLIN (Own report) – Berlin has reacted to Turkish air strikes on the “Islamic State” (IS) and the PKK, with both praise and sharp criticism. After several IS attacks on Turkish territory, Ankara halted its support for the IS last week and launched air strikes on the organization in northern Syria. For years, the West, including Berlin, had been benevolently observing how Ankara had been granting assistance to the IS – as an aspect of the war against the Bashar al Assad government in Syria. Ankara is now following the change of course, initiated last year by the West, when it declared war on IS. Berlin’s sharp criticism of Turkish air strikes on PKK camps in northern Iraq must be seen in the context of Turkish plans to invade northern Syria, which would lead to a confrontation with Kurdish forces affiliated to the PKK. Germany clearly rejects such an invasion because either it would strengthen Ankara, which recently has been regularly opposing Berlin, or it would turn another EU-bordering country into a theater of armed conflict – between the Turkish armed forces and Kurdish units.

Cold War Resurgent: US Nukes Could Soon Return to Europe

Germany isn’t blind, but is behaving blind by willingly looking the other way. If it ever had to choose sides, it would likely do so in Russia’s favor. The anti-American sentiment across Europe rising plus NATOs current inability to handle war with Russia, as well as recognizing the need to be able to protect themselves, is why you see the foundations for an EU Army being built. America isn’t even prepared and has no defense whatsoever against a Russian nuclear attack.

Washington is once again talking about stationing nuclear warheads in Europe. Russia, too, is turning up the rhetoric. Europeans are concerned about becoming caught in the middle of a new Cold War.

Berlin is concerned that Europe could once again become the setting of a new East-West confrontation — and that Germany might once again become a deployment zone. A source in the Defense Ministry suggested that “more (military) equipment may once again be stockpiled in Germany.” Washington plans to station tanks, weapons and heavy equipment for 5,000 soldiers in Germany and the eastern NATO countries. US President Barack Obama hopes that doing so will soothe the fears of the Baltic States and countries in Eastern Europe, which, since the Ukraine crisis, are once again fearful of Russian aggression. He also hopes to quiet his critics in US Congress.

For German Chancellor Angela Merkel, this prospect is not a pleasant one. She shies away from publicly criticizing her American allies, but Merkel is loathe to do anything that might heat up the conflict with Moscow. Furthermore, a new debate on rearmament would hardly be winnable on a domestic front. The chancellor would potentially look like a puppet of the United States, one who not only allows herself to be spied on, but who also stands by as her carefully established link to Putin is damaged. Germany, France to Develop New Battle Tank to Catch Up With Russia’s Armata

Germany and France are now preparing to jointly develop a new main battle tank, the Leopard 3, to replace its ageing Leopard 2 military vehicle by around 2030, which would be able to compete with Russia’s next-generation Armata tank, recently showcased at the Victory Day parade commemorating the end of World War Two in Moscow.

The main reason for the modernization is believed to be the Leopard 2 service life, which is set to expire by 2030.

The German media, however, suggest that the real reason is the recently-presented analysis by Germany’s Federal Intelligence Service (BND) on Russia’s reinforced combat strength and its recently showcased T-14 Armata tanks, which were presented during the country’s Victory Parade in Moscow on May 9. The New German Arrogance (II)

Germany knows controlling the flow of information is key, therefore it is now capturing the cyber realm. This, plus taking steps towards an EU Army, forcing further integration of EU member states and turning them into vassal states (i.e. Cyprus) are all key actions/characteristics of a nation striving to be a world superpower. Germany is now directly competing against the United States. The Fourth Reich has (almost) landed.

BERLIN/WASHINGTON/VIENNA (Own report) – In cooperation with NSA, a US military intelligence service, the German Federal Intelligence Service (BND) has massively intercepted and stored emails from Austria, Luxembourg and the Czech Republic. This became evident through an internal email from an employee of the Deutsche Telekom AG, responsible for cooperation with the intelligence service and police. According to the email, published by the Austrian parliamentarian Peter Pilz, Telekom, already in early February 2005, had given a green light to the BND having access to a fiber optic cable for internet communication connecting Luxembourg to Austria and numerous other countries. At the time, Frank-Walter Steinmeier (SPD), as Head of the Federal Chancellery, bore the highest responsibility for the activities of the BND. According to reports, Austria’s domestic intelligence was also being tapped. Whoever is cognizant of this communication, knows “almost everything about the Republic’s political life,” summarized Pilz. The governments concerned have raised no serious protests, in the Germany-dominated EU. The German government is continuing the BND’s technological upgrading, aimed ultimately toward raising German espionage “to an equal footing” with the NSA – also in internet spying.

EU to Control National Intelligence Services as ‘Revenge on Merkel’

Europol is planning to establish a joint counterterrorism center, which will obtain data of the domestic intelligence services of EU states. The move seems to be an ”act of revenge” against Germany, whose intelligence services carried out espionage activities against the European Commission and France on behalf of the US.

The published security agenda of the EU-Commission stated that member states have the primary responsibility for their internal security, but are unable to guarantee it on their own. Continue reading

Now EU wants its own SECRET AGENTS – amid claims Germany spied on officials

Although this is a proposal, we have yet another sign that the EU is another step closer towards becoming a United States of Europe as it slowly continues to push America out. These scandals are not scandals, but completely overly dramatized propaganda pieces with the aim of shaping public opinion to achieve independence from America. Although it’s not called such, an EU Army is slowly shaping up as European militaries band together outside of NATO and, for example, will soon be doing patrols of the Mediterranean sea to keep the immigrant migration issue from further spiraling out of control. Slowly but surely, the United States of Europe is coming, courtesy of the Germany’s Fourth Reich dominated EU.

THE EU is considering launching its own spy agency amid bombshell allegations that Germany passed intelligence about top officials to the US.

European Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker wants his own secret service to counter spies, according to reports. Continue reading

Merkel Knew German Intelligence Was Spying on German Companies for US

As stated before, the whole spying ‘scandal’ is the biggest spying non-scandal in modern times. The BND has virtually been in bed with the NSA since 1952, its year of inception. Because of German laws, the BND was never allowed to spy on its own citizens. This then allowed the German government to use the legal loophole of allowing the NSA to spy for them, or do the spying for the NSA as in this case, and then distribute the intelligence findings.

Why all the outrage then? You have to look at the bigger picture. In a nutshell, Germany wants the American ball and chain detached from it, thus enabling it to become a superpower on its own. It already has established its hegemony over the Europe and the EU, the largest economy in the world. NATO forces, while needed, are not welcome in the eyes of many Europeans and to turn such a non-scandal to an overly dramatic show is pure propaganda for the domestic front. This intentionally ramps up support among European citizens and successfully drives another wedge between Germany’s rising Fourth Reich and America. The government has to shape the thinking of people and manipulate public opinion before it can garner support to carry out its goals. What you’re seeing is a historical split and Moscow is also playing its part to drive NATO out of Europe as well.

According to the available information, the NSA was trying to get information about the multinational arms companies EADS and Eurocopter. This was contrary to German interests, and the BND had rejected the requests at that time. Continue reading

Germany Has Had Enough With US Neocons: Berlin “Stunned” At US Desire For War In Ukraine

This is one of many factors in why you will most certainly see a German-led European Army coming soon and NATO getting the boot. Pax Americana is in decline and a new chapter in world history will be opened. The Fourth Reich has landed.

While Russia’s envoy to NATO notes that statements by the deputy head of NATO testify to the fact that the leaders of the bloc want to intervene in Russia’s internal politics, and are “dreaming of Russian Maidan,” Washington has a bigger problem… Germany. As Der Spiegel reports, while US President Obama ‘supports’ Chancellor Merkel’s efforts at finding a diplomatic solution to the Ukraine crisis, hawks in Washington seem determined to torpedo Berlin’s approach. And NATO’s top commander in Europe hasn’t been helping either with sources in the Chancellery have referred to Breedlove’s comments as “dangerous propaganda.”

And as Der Spiegel reports, The Germans are not happy.

Breedlove’s Bellicosity: Berlin Alarmed by Aggressive NATO Stance on Ukraine

US President Obama supports Chancellor Merkel’s efforts at finding a diplomatic solution to the Ukraine crisis. But hawks in Washington seem determined to torpedo Berlin’s approach. And NATO’s top commander in Europe hasn’t been helping either. Continue reading

German spy agency’s new home flooded after taps stolen

The nearly completed building in central Berlin is to be the new headquarters of Germany’s foreign intelligence agency, the BND, which is currently based in Munich.

On Wednesday, the building suffered extensive water damage after someone tampered with the water pipes despite strict security on site. As a result, water flooded cable and air shafts and suspended ceilings for several hours, according to daily “Berliner Zeitung.” Continue reading

German who spied for CIA stole list of 3,500 German spies’ names

The United States spies on Germany like Great Britain spies on the United States, or Israel spying on America. This is nothing new under the sun in the intelligence community, nor a scandal of any sort.

The only noteworthy point to make is that this is intentionally leaked all over the media as a propaganda piece. The means to what end this should achieve in particular is the only mystery at the moment.

A German intelligence officer, who was arrested last summer for spying for the United States, may have given his American handlers information on the real identities, as well as operational aliases, of nearly 3,500 German intelligence operatives.

In July, Germany expelled the Central Intelligence Agency station chief in Berlin, following the arrest of Marcus R., a 31-year-old, low-level clerk at the Bundesnachrichtendienst, or BND, Germany’s external intelligence agency. Continue reading
