Light wars: space-based lasers among Beijing’s hi-tech arms

The blinding and destroying of American military satellites by China in warfare, enabling an almost-unhindered invasion of the American mainland, is called “assassin’s mace“.

Both can be researched further with the following articles:

AMERICA’S ACUPUNCTURE POINTS, PART 2: The assassin’s mace

As you can see after reading the articles, it’s imperative and in America’s best interests to stop playing games with its military budget and wasting time with focusing on thousands of individual terrorists that multiply after their death.

Arsenal including electromagnetic railguns and microwave weapons aims to neutralize web of satellites that give US its main strategic edge

China’s military is developing powerful lasers, electromagnetic railguns and high-power microwave weapons for use in a future “light war” involving space-based attacks on satellites.

Beijing’s push to produce so-called directed-energy weapons aims to neutralize America’s key strategic advantage: the web of intelligence, communication and navigation satellites enabling military strikes of unparalleled precision expeditionary warfare far from US shores.

The idea of a space-based laser gun was disclosed in the journal Chinese Optics in December 2013 by three researchers, Gao Ming-hui, Zeng Yu-quang and Wang Zhi-hong. All work for the Changchun Institute for Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics – the leading center for laser weapons technology. Continue reading

Russia tests ray gun that can BLIND enemies as it steps up fight to WIPE OUT Islamic State

RUSSIA is testing a terrifying new weapon that can blind enemies using rays as it steps up the fight to obliterate the Islamic State in Syria.

The country’s defence vehicles could soon be equipped with the device, which fires out light strong enough to block sensors and cloak human vision.

Chinese military could soon disable sensors on enemy missiles using suitcase-sized device after ‘groundbreaking’ study on ultrafast lasers

A breakthrough in laser technology may give the Chinese military the ability to blind the sensors on enemy missiles or even satellites using a portable device the size of a suitcase, rather than the large container-sized version typically found on warships.

A research team led by Professor Li Zhiyuan with the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Physics reported that they had reduced the sophisticated mechanism that generates a high-frequency laser down to a single piece of crystal.

This means the huge ultrafast laser generator that is used to render heat-seeking missiles useless, and which can be found on warships today, could be shrunk to the size of hand baggage and mounted on aircraft, tanks or even soldiers. Continue reading

Russia develops directed-energy weapons

Asked by TASS to comment on a message from the DSEi 2015 international show in London to the effect that the Royal Navy intends to adopt lasers for service by 2020, the Russian defense industry source said: “Russian engineers developing weapons reliant on new physical principles are aware of the foreign efforts in the directed-energy weapons field”.

Of the basic types of the above weapons, he singled out laser, acoustic, holographic and kinetic systems. “First off, these are lasers designed not to destroy objects but to ‘blind’ them because the latter requires far less energy,” he added. Continue reading

Russian Military Unveils Revolutionary Electronic Warfare System

Being that the Russians have already reportedly been able to shut down American warships (USS Donald Cook) in the Black Sea, this does not look good for the U.S. military since it’s also in suicidal decline through purges and defense cuts.

Russia’s new Richag-AV radar and sonar jamming system can be mounted on helicopters, ships and other military equipment to jam potential adversaries’ weapons systems from distances of several hundred kilometers away; it has been hailed by developers as having no analogue anywhere in the world.

At a presentation for journalists in Kazan on Wednesday, Russian radio-electronics firm Radio-Electronic Technologies Concern (KRET) announced that it is handing over the first batch of a new helicopter-mounted electronic warfare system known as the ‘Richag-AV’ to the armed forces. Continue reading
