Hungary and Poland United Against EU

 

They’re fed up of being dictated to from afar.

Hungary and Poland are united against Brussels.

Both nations have refused to take in the EU’s quota of asylum seekers and refugees, leading to Brussels threatening to withdraw the countries’ voting rights.

Hungarian PM Viktor Orban, during a meeting with Poland’s Beata Szydło, said: “What’s happening to Poland now in the EU is a lack of respect. Criticism about Poland not observing the rule of law is groundless.”

Eastern European countries are moving further and further away from Brussels. Like Britain, they’re fed up of being dictated to by a the liberal elite and they could well follow the UK out of the EU exit door.
