According to The Telegraph, the island nation’s government aired a 30 second television announcement telling residents that in the event of a missile attack by North Korea, they are to seek shelter in a strudy building or underground. It also said people should stay away from windows, lie on the ground and protect their heads.

The Telegraph says that the Japanese government decided to air the safety announcement because of the rising number of North Korean missile tests and growing tensions in the region. The Japanese government held evacuation drills in April and issued guidelines on how to survive an enemy attack.
