Canadian PM, Justin Trudeau has said Canada will continue to accept asylum seekers crossing illegally from the US in what amounts to a replication of the disastrous Angela Merkel open-door policy.

The number of migrants crossing into Canada has increased in recent weeks after  Donald Trump’s administration began a crackdown on illegal immigrants. The number of migrants claiming asylum at one crossing alone had more than doubled since the same time last year.
