Chinese Navy Ships Dock in San Diego

According to NBC San Diego, the Jiangkai II-class frigates Yancheng and Daqing and the Fuchi-class oiler Tai Hu from China’s People’s Liberation Army Navy will dock in San Diego between Tuesday and Friday as their crews take part in events with crew members of the USS Cape St. George.

The naval craft will dock at B Street Pier in San Diego and one of the ships will also be open to the public for tours between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

The visit represents the third time over the past three years that Chinese Navy ships have journeyed to San Diego.
