VLADIMIR Putin has urged Russians to “fight until the end” as tensions continue to mount between the West and the Kremlin.
In a speech to both Russian and foreign politicians, along with a host of analysts, Putin slammed Barack Obama’s foreign policy and defended his decision to bombard the besieged city of Aleppo.
Putin said: “If we shouldn’t be there – then why are you in Mosul?
“Let’s leave everything as it is. Let’s do nothing about Raqqa. We always hear about Raqqa from our US partners and how this nest of terrorism should be destroyed but civilians live there too.”
“Do you want us to do nothing about it when they take hostages in cities? Do we leave them alone?”
He said: “Learn from Israel – it never lets go. They fight until the end. That’s why it exists at all. There is not other option. We have to fight. If we let things slide, we will always lose.”
