The world must condemn Iran’s practice of paying the families of terrorists who attack Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Feb. 25.
“Yesterday Iran announced that it will finance the families of the terrorists and murderers,” Netanyahu said before meeting with visiting Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov.
“This is something that the nations of the world must confront and condemn, and assist Israel – and other countries, of course – in repelling,” he said.
Netanyahu said the payments show that Iran continues to fund Palestinian and Hizbullah terrorists after implementation of the nuclear deal with world powers.
The Israeli leader also said the recent round of stabbings by Palestinian youth is “not happening in a vacuum. It comes from the Palestinian education system, which is controlled by the Palestinian Authority.”
