(TRUNEWS) As previously reported by TRUNEWS, 79-year-old U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was found dead of apparent natural causes Saturday in a luxury resort in West Texas, but could foul play have been involved?
After conducting analysis of the available information, these are a few points of interest.
The Official Story
The San Antonio Express-News reported that Justice Scalia was found dead in his bed at the Cibolo Creek Ranch at approximately 11:30 a.m. by Houston businessman John Poindexter, who owns the 30,000 acre luxury ranch. In an interview with the outlet, Poindexter said that “we discovered the judge in bed, a pillow over his head. His bed clothes were unwrinkled, he was lying very restfully. It looked like he had not quite awakened from a nap.” In a separate interview with the New York Times, Poindexter expanded further by saying “his hands were sort of almost folded on top of the sheets, the sheets weren’t rumpled up at all.”
Poindexter also inferred to the San Antonio Express-News that he checked Justice Scalia’s pulse upon finding him in his bed, noting that did not have a pulse and his body was cold. After consulting with a doctor at a hospital in Alpine, he concluded that resuscitation would have been futile, and then contacted federal authorities. He was then given instruction to secure the site, which was under lock down until Sunday morning, and the Fed’s flew into the remote West Texas ranch by helicopter.
After interviewing federal officials, the Washington Post reported Sunday that after Scalia’s body was found, it took hours for authorities to find a justice of the peace. Presidio County Judge Cinderela Guevara was eventually reached, and she pronounced Justice Scalia dead of natural causes, even though she had not seen the body. Judge Guevara also decided at that time not to order an autopsy. David Beebe, a Presidio County justice of the peace, told the San Antonio Express-News that he initially ignored the call, assuming it was an illegal immigrant.

WaPost reported that Juanita Bishop, another justice of the peace in Presidio who was called but couldn’t get to Scalia’s body in time, said she would have ordered an autopsy.
In a phone interview with WaPost Sunday, Judge Guevara acknowledged that she pronounced Scalia dead by phone without seeing his body. She said that she instead spoke to law enforcement officials at the scene, who assured her “there were no signs of foul play”.

Texas Law on Dead Bodies and Autopsies
According to Texas Law, two or more are required to sign off on a cause of death. This is noted in Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 49 “Inquests Upon Dead Bodies”, Subchapter A. “Duties Performed by Justices of the Peace.”
Art. 49.04. DEATHS REQUIRING AN INQUEST.

(6) the person dies without having been attended by a physician;
Art. 49.09. BODY DISINTERRED OR CREMATED.

Sec. 9. AUTOPSY. (a) If the cause of death shall be determined beyond a reasonable doubt as a result of the investigation, the medical examiner shall file a report thereof setting forth specifically the cause of death with the district attorney or criminal district attorney, or in a county in which there is no district attorney or criminal district attorney with the county attorney, of the county in which the death occurred.”
These are public records and require a Court Order for them to be “sealed”, and in order to determine and confirm a heart attack as the cause of death, tissue from the heart and other areas must be taken.

But for a high-profile death such as Justice Scalia, authorities would presumably make accommodations and conduct a necessary autopsy, if for nothing more than to quell fears and the proliferation of “wild theories”.
Heart Attack Gun
Why do these irregularities matter? Why is it important to determine the exact cause of Justice Scalia’s death, whether it be from heart attack, natural causes, or murder?
During the United States Senate Select Committee to Study Governmental Operations with Respect to Intelligence actives, also known as the Church Committee hearings, a weapon dubbed the CIA’s “Secret Heart Attack Gun” was exposed in congressional testimony. The officials said that the assassination weapon shoots a small poison dart which is capable of penetrating clothing, and delivering a lethal poison to the bloodstream which causes a heart attack. They noted that because the dart disintegrates upon entry and only leaves a tiny red dot on the skin, autopsies are very unlikely to detect that the heart attack resulted from anything other than natural causes. This technology was available in 1975, almost 40 years ago.
Did Obama Know Before Public?
The website DC Whispers reported that based on information from a trusted source, Obama knew about Scalia’s death well before it became public knowledge.
Excerpt from their statement:
“Word reached the White House hours before formal media announcements were made regarding longtime Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia having been found dead while vacationing at a Texas resort. First the speechwriters were summoned to provide the appropriate tone for Barack Obama’s remarks.”
“During that same time, Obama and Valerie Jarrett were already initiating a long-standing plan for what they viewed as a prime opportunity to make Mr. Obama relevant once again and an opportunity that the President was said to be thrilled to have before him.”
Drudge’s Supreme Court Warning
The last point of intrigue in this case brings us back to the ominous words from Matt Drudge about looming media censorship in his Oct. 2015 interview with Alex Jones of Infowars.
During the appearance, Drudge said “I had a Supreme Court Justice tell me it’s over for me, they’ve got the votes now to enforce copyright law, you’re out of there. They’re going to make it so you can’t even use headlines.”
Though Drudge never named which Justice approached him, later analysis from Jones inferred that it was one of the conservative bulwarks, potentially Justice Scalia. Rick Wiles of TRUNEWS discussed the ramifications of this revelation here.
TRUNEWS reported in Jan. 2016 that attempts to judicially censor media inside the United States are already underway, like South Carolina Bill H. 4702 which would establish a state-controlled licensing system for news writers and media outlets.
