WASHINGTON — Two leading U.S. think tanks have dismissed a military option against Iran and are in line with the Obama administration’s push for a U.S. reconciliation with Iran and acceptance of its nuclear program.
The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and the Federation of American Scientists issued a report that urged the administration of President Barack Obama to accept a nuclear Iran.
The think tanks ruled out a military option to end Iran’s nuclear program and instead recommended diplomacy.
